Growing up in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin neighborhood, Jade Ocampo never imagined that her post-high school journey would take her into the world of quantum research, professional engineering societies, and national internships.
Larry Buonaguidi is used to working in the background, but his impact can still be seen and felt across Wright College.
For nearly 20 years, Larry has served the Wright community in various capacities, and he currently serves as assistant dean of instruction. In this role, he works on building an efficient class schedule, managing contracts, and more—but his work goes above and beyond to indirectly support students and their success.
Due to his efforts to brighten the Wright College community, Larry received a City Colleges of Chicago Luminary Award in the spring of 2025.
