Malcolm X College nursing graduate Deon Jones is no stranger to City Colleges. He began his nursing career 12 years ago at Wilbur Wright College and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). More than a decade later, he’s back at Malcolm X to advance in the field of nursing.
Despite some time away from the classroom, Deon found success at Malcolm X. He found his education affordable, his class schedule worked with his family and work schedules, and his professors became mentors.
Deon how has an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and is preparing to take
the NCLEX to become a registered nurse (RN). He’s proud of his hard work and the example he’s setting for his children.
