After graduating in the spring of 2018 with both her diploma from Sarah Goode STEM Academy and an associate degree from Daley College, Diamond Webb is off to the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She’ll start there in the fall as a junior and aims to study political science.

Getting to this point took a lot of hard work—inside and out of the classroom. Diamond played volleyball and worked at Culver’s and Foot Locker. She enjoyed her Daley College experience, which started during her sophomore year, but it took a while to acclimate to college classes on a college campus with college-age students. She plans to graduate from U of I in the spring of 2020, having saved over $60,000 thanks to City Colleges’ Early College program. Looking ahead to what’s after undergrad, Diamond has her sights set on law school.
