Stephanie Maltos is a fierce leader both on the Daley College campus and in the surrounding community.
Balancing her academic career and involvement on campus, she founded the Undocumented Students & Allies Club and is part of the Student Government Association. Her volunteer work includes registering voters, facilitating food distribution at the food pantry on campus, leading Know Your Rights Workshops, hosting DACA Renewal Clinics, and initiating the development of a resource center for undocumented students.
She has overcome many barriers in her life, and through speaking about her experiences, has empowered others to speak out on social justice issues that are important to students at Daley College and to people in the surrounding community.
Stephanie uses her time and talents to support her peers and to help make Daley College a welcoming environment for all.

Celia Hammond already had a lot on her plate when she decided to return to college at the age of 25. A lifelong Chicagoan, she worked full-time at the Illinois Institute of Technology while also juggling her role as wife and mother to two children.
