Alvaro Mendieta
Alvaro Mendieta arrived to the US from Ecuador eight years ago and enrolled in English as a Second Language classes at Truman College.
Toni Fuller completed CCC’s Cosmetology program at Truman College in Fall of 2017. With a 4.0 GPA, she was an obvious choice as a speaker at their completion ceremony. Her goals include doing hair and makeup at weddings, working at a salon, and one day starting her own shop. After being home schooled for high school, Toni came to Truman because it’s affordable and she’s intent on staying right here in Chicago. Toni is currently considering multiple job offers and plans to take the state board exam in January of 2018.
