Eddie Jones is a current computer science student at Olive-Harvey College and is spending his summer as a NASA Community Colleges Aerospace Scholar which culminates with a project presentation at one of NASA’s space centers.

Having originally attended Truman College in 2012, he stopped going because his grandmother passed. He came back to City Colleges in 2014 to attend Olive-Harvey College, but again had to stop because of his work schedule.

He chose to study computer science because he likes playing video games and hopes to one day create his own. He also fixed an iPhone on his own years ago, and it inspired him to learn more about technology and see what else he could do.

What he likes the most about attending CCC is opportunities available for those working to better themselves. He plans to complete his degree in Spring of 2018 and hopes to go on to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology.
